No Win, No Fee Legal Representation
Goldman Finch Is Proud To Offer No Win, No Fee Legal Representation
Access To Justice Is A Fundamental Part Of The Fabric Of The Firm
The Majority Of Cases Succeed, But Where An Opponent Has A Defence In Law, No Win, No Fee Commitments Are Always Honoured
What Our No Win, No Fee Representation Means
Goldman Finch offers No Win, No Fee legal representation in individual private client matters. This means that, subject to the agreed terms and conditions of the CFA (Conditional Fee Agreement), we can write off our legal fees if the case does not succeed for any of the following reasons:
- The Defendant presents a genuine defence in law that means they are not in breach of laws and regulations;
- Where a breach in law is established, it transpires that the breach and any harm caused to you are not linked;
- A Defendant is unable to compensate you due to not being insured and/or not having the means to compensate you.
Whilst this may seem obvious, it does not cover you in scenarios such as:
- A client bringing a fraudulent claim, or inflating the harm or loss involved;
- A client cancelling a case partway through;
- The case losing as a result of a failure by a client to cooperate in the case.
When a genuine client is unable to win the case, Goldman Finch ensures that protection is in place with the No Win, No Fee legal representation on offer. It is as simple as that.
Why We Work This Way For You
Goldman Finch offers No Win, No Fee legal representation because:
- The firm’s core value is about Access to Justice, which means that everyone has the right to legal representation without having to pay upfront costs or fees if the case loses. We can offer this service to eligible clients.
- We recognise that few would be able to afford to claim, or would even bother making a claim, unless this kind of protection was in place.
- We only take a case forward if it has merits that will allow it to succeed. This does not mean that we only take on “easy” claims. On the contrary, we are experienced in taking on some of the biggest corporations in the world. We, therefore, carefully risk assess a potential claim and, where we consider that the prospects of success are good, we can take it forward.
